Alexia
Trainer
Alexia’s been passionate about the human-animal bond for as long as she can remember. She spent much of her younger years with horses and eventually got her first dog - a Goldendoodle called Shiloh. While she always enjoyed training him on obedience and tricks, her interest in dog training really took off when learning to work through Shiloh’s leash reactivity with the talented trainers at Apex CTA.
She realized dog training combined her deep-seated desire to help people and animals, demystify behaviour, teach, and problem solve. Upon joining the Apex team, Alexia strives to help people feel empowered with the knowledge and skills to cultivate the most healthy, therapeutic, and rewarding relationships with their dogs.
Kass
Trainer
Kass started her journey to become a dog trainer because she always had a special connection with dogs. She used to watch cesar millan as a child and just marveled at how a dog's behaviour could be changed and always had it at the back of her head that it was something she wanted to do as a career.
She enjoys dog training because she has been through the struggle of having an unruly dog in her life and it brings her joy being able to help people bring the best part of there dogs out through training and building bonds with their canine companions.
